I know, I'm shocked too :)

Hello again. Its me, back for my yearly post. Its been a really long time since my last update, and I probably should fill you in on all that has happened, but honestly I can't remember. Don't worry, I'm sure you will survive. Its not like you are absolutely DIEING to know every little thing that goes on in my life. If you are, that's a little creepy and slightly stalkerish and I suggest you get some help. :)

Actually, if you did suddenly have a random urge to follow me around, you would most likely die of boredom. My life is like one of those old record thingies that gets scratched and repeats the same thing over. . . and over. . . and over. I wake up, go to school, go to rehearsal (which is probably the only reason I get up in the first place) go to work, go back to sleep, rinse and repeat. Overall an extremely uneventful life. But hey, that what acting is for, right? I get to put on a costume and pretend I have an interesting life for about two hours. :)

Speaking of which, for those of you who don't know, I have recently discovered the Glover child in me and with that a passion for acting. Remember when I complained of being cursed to always be in the audience, observing and wishing to be a part of it all? Well the curse has been lifted :) Since then I plucked up the courage to audition for three more plays and compete in Reagion and State Drama. I think I told you about the first play "Experiments in Ink"(which is really several small plays written by the students) so I won't bore you with all the little details of that one.

Region was held here at San Juan so I not only was I thrown head first into the confusion of my first competition, but I also had to help Miss. B with everything that needed doing. Despite the chaos of the event, I had a lot of fun. Me an my scene partner, Elijah Palmer, took Second place and Region and had straight superiors at State. State is a festival so its not possible to place, but we got a nifty little medal for our efforts :) I would post some pictures, but I don't have any. Grandpa Worthy has some pretty good ones though.

After region I was cast as Helen of Troy in the play "Women of Troy". We never actually got around to performing that one, but I enjoyed being the downfall of an entire nation while it lasted ;)

The next production I was apart of was Shakespearience/ Shakespeare Competition. Shakespearience is something my school does to show the community the scenes and monologues that we take to Competition and the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City. Here are a few pictures. (I know my mom already posted them, but I haven't posted in so long, you probably gave up on checking my blog anyway)

And last but not least, my latest dramatic adventure will be "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" the musical. I got the part of Marci, who is the little kid with huge glasses who follows Peppermint Pattie around and calls her "sir". I didn't get any solos which isn't really a bad thing. I think the audience wants to keep their ears :) Opening night is Nov. 19 if you wanna come see it.

I'm back! Did you miss me? Lol I'm sorry I havn't posted in an eternity, but I am a very busy soul. Well, actually that doesn't work since I sold mine to the Drama Divas so I am just a very busy empty shell that resembles a regular human. :D lol I'm kidding, but drama has taken up glafoodles of my time. (And yes, glafoodles is a word)

So here is a quick recap of the past month and 5 days.

Discovered that I snore. Ew.

Got my first good score on the writing assessment. All fives and fours with just one three. Yay me!

Started open gym for softball and couldn't laugh for a week, I was so sore.

Went to The Unborn expecting to be scared out of my mind. I was very disapointed.

Went to Marley and Me and cried all over my buddies shoulder.

Stopped going to girls basket ball games. Heard the last score was 17 to 64. Very depressing.

Skipped School to see the inaguration of Barack Obama.

Watched the Super bowl and didn't understand a single play. I totally thought Arizona won :) But it was a good excuse to eat yummy munchies!

Went to the Draper Temple open house. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

I finally got the guts to try out for a play. Technically I auditioned for four, and it was against my own free will, but I still did it! Its a thing our school does called "Experiments in Ink" where the students write and direct thier own ten minute play. I showed up for tryouts only to discover that I was not alloud to audition for just one play, and tried to make a run for it. I would have escaped if not for one teeny tiny detail. They locked the friggin door.

I not only auditioned, but two and a half roles! I am Cozette in Complications who is the main role in Kortney and Becca's play, and I am Mrs. Turner, the smokin hot mamma of the main charachter in Desperate Dieing Hope by Mckenzie Adams. I am also an extra in Thesbianage by Tori Black. The plays start Feb. 12 - 14 at 7:00. Make sure you show up! I don't care if you are on the other side of the country! lol jk :) Its probably better if nobody shows up. . . that way they won't have to see my pathetic attempt at acting. :)

Couldn't think of anything else to say on my blog. . .

Happy Birthday Daddy

In honor of my most beloved Father, I am dedicating this post to my top ten favorite things about him. :)

1. He doesn't hold back. Seriously. Just watch him sing "Rebel Yell" on world tour sometime and you will understand what I mean.

2. He makes yummy breakfast. Usually I sleep in until about noon if I can help it, but if I smell any form of breakfast that is not cold and covered in milk I am at the table faster than anything.

3. He has awesome music (most of the time.) It makes it really easy for me to have a good selection on my i-pod.

4. He comes to all of my Volleyball and Softball games and always cheers the loudest.

5. He has left a legacy behind in the Drama program. This makes it really fun to tell people my name because they freak out and tell me all these amazing stories about him as a teenager. At the same time it makes it really hard to convince them all that I did not inherit his acting bug.
6. He is always saying random things in Spanish. My French and Spanish vocabulary have mixed up, and it drives Monsieur Neilson crazy!

7. He thinks that if he challenges me enough times at guitar hero, someday he might beat me. That day has yet to come.
8. I love watching him play video games. Sometimes I look up cheat codes for him when he gets stuck. (Shhhh! Its a secret!)

9. I love his laugh. Its so contagious! When he laughs, it makes anything funny!

10. He is the first person who taught me how to drive. Ummm... I mean no of course I haven't driven! I'm not old enough! I would never do that! ;)

Happy Birthday Daddio!

Merry Christmas!

Daddy is so shocked! Its just what he's always wanted!

Isn't he so cute?

Bug was still sick. She didn't even open her presents! She made my mom do it for her!
Fred loved his treat. Surprise, surprise! I wonder, is there is anything this cat won't eat?

Bear wouldn't come inside for very long, even though it was snowing like crazy outside!

Today was so much fun! Worthy woke me up at 6:00 in the morning, and we opened all our presents. My parents had warned me prior to the destruction of the wrapping paper that I didn't have as many presents as the younger peoples because mine were more expensive. As I opened the various boxes and bags, I thought that maybe they were just making excuses. None of the things I had opened were worth any large amount of money, assuming, that is, that my mother is a smart shopper and did not allow any creepy salesperson dudes to take advantage of her. Then, as I opened my last present, (an envelope) my momma told me that this gift was the reason I had less treasures than the little monkeys (Whoops, I mean children!). My confusion was growing by the second as I opened the little package and found four small little pieces of paper. "Ummmm . . . Thanks?" I mumbled, a little disappointed. I was expecting something grand and wonderful, like a new i-pod or something, but no. My "expensive" gift was nothing more than a dead tree. Bah Humbug.

But then I looked closer, and saw what the paper said; "Zions Bank and Broadway Across America presents: WICKED Thursday, April 09, 2009 2:00 p. m. Capitol Theatre 50West 200 South" My heart stopped beating for a second, and if the room hadn't been so full, I think I might have screamed. In fact, I'm not so sure I didn't. I hugged my parents so hard, I'm surprised I didn't break any bones.

I am so excited! EEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I thought I would never get to see Wicked, or at least have to wait until I could afford to take myself, but now I'm going! I'm really for real going to see my very first Broadway Production! (Ma Mere says I have seen Beauty and the Beast, but I don't remember it, so it doesn't count!)

It's Christmas Adam!!!

Just two more nights 'till Santa comes! I hope we are all better by then. . . It seems like every time I get a little free time, my body shuts down. It doesn't exactly make the holidays very much fun, but it sure makes them memorable! No, I'm joking, I love the Holidays! I just wish I could stay nice and healthy so that I could enjoy them a little more.
Ummmmm . . . I don't know what to talk about. Yay Christmas! Yahoo and all that jazz . . . Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and don't eat to many candy canes!

My Secret Identity; Striped Happy Girly Goo the Elf

Tonight was the last night we put on the play. It was so much fun! I am soooo excited for Monday! That's the day we travel to 5 different schools and perform for the elementary students. I am so psyched!!! The little kids loved it, and some of them even asked for a Tina doll, who is the girl in the blue dress. (BTW I'm the elf in the yellow turtle neck and candy cane legs)
(P.S. I feel really super dee duper bad about my last post. I should have waited until I had simmered down before I posted in anger like that, and I apologize that you had to deal with my anger. )

I love this guy!

So usually I get really mad when Worthy goes in my room. Its my space, and I like my privacy. I can tell when he's been in there because he gets that look on his face, like he's scared to death of what I will do to punish him. The other day I was in a super grumpy mood, and I walked in and there was Worthy, just chillin on my bed. MY BED! I was so angry! But then he handed me my camera and said, "Can we take some pictures so we can see them when we are old?" How can I refuse a request like that? Of course, I gave in, or else the pictures you see above would not exist. :)
