Merry Christmas!

Daddy is so shocked! Its just what he's always wanted!

Isn't he so cute?

Bug was still sick. She didn't even open her presents! She made my mom do it for her!
Fred loved his treat. Surprise, surprise! I wonder, is there is anything this cat won't eat?

Bear wouldn't come inside for very long, even though it was snowing like crazy outside!

Today was so much fun! Worthy woke me up at 6:00 in the morning, and we opened all our presents. My parents had warned me prior to the destruction of the wrapping paper that I didn't have as many presents as the younger peoples because mine were more expensive. As I opened the various boxes and bags, I thought that maybe they were just making excuses. None of the things I had opened were worth any large amount of money, assuming, that is, that my mother is a smart shopper and did not allow any creepy salesperson dudes to take advantage of her. Then, as I opened my last present, (an envelope) my momma told me that this gift was the reason I had less treasures than the little monkeys (Whoops, I mean children!). My confusion was growing by the second as I opened the little package and found four small little pieces of paper. "Ummmm . . . Thanks?" I mumbled, a little disappointed. I was expecting something grand and wonderful, like a new i-pod or something, but no. My "expensive" gift was nothing more than a dead tree. Bah Humbug.

But then I looked closer, and saw what the paper said; "Zions Bank and Broadway Across America presents: WICKED Thursday, April 09, 2009 2:00 p. m. Capitol Theatre 50West 200 South" My heart stopped beating for a second, and if the room hadn't been so full, I think I might have screamed. In fact, I'm not so sure I didn't. I hugged my parents so hard, I'm surprised I didn't break any bones.

I am so excited! EEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I thought I would never get to see Wicked, or at least have to wait until I could afford to take myself, but now I'm going! I'm really for real going to see my very first Broadway Production! (Ma Mere says I have seen Beauty and the Beast, but I don't remember it, so it doesn't count!)

It's Christmas Adam!!!

Just two more nights 'till Santa comes! I hope we are all better by then. . . It seems like every time I get a little free time, my body shuts down. It doesn't exactly make the holidays very much fun, but it sure makes them memorable! No, I'm joking, I love the Holidays! I just wish I could stay nice and healthy so that I could enjoy them a little more.
Ummmmm . . . I don't know what to talk about. Yay Christmas! Yahoo and all that jazz . . . Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and don't eat to many candy canes!

My Secret Identity; Striped Happy Girly Goo the Elf

Tonight was the last night we put on the play. It was so much fun! I am soooo excited for Monday! That's the day we travel to 5 different schools and perform for the elementary students. I am so psyched!!! The little kids loved it, and some of them even asked for a Tina doll, who is the girl in the blue dress. (BTW I'm the elf in the yellow turtle neck and candy cane legs)
(P.S. I feel really super dee duper bad about my last post. I should have waited until I had simmered down before I posted in anger like that, and I apologize that you had to deal with my anger. )

I love this guy!

So usually I get really mad when Worthy goes in my room. Its my space, and I like my privacy. I can tell when he's been in there because he gets that look on his face, like he's scared to death of what I will do to punish him. The other day I was in a super grumpy mood, and I walked in and there was Worthy, just chillin on my bed. MY BED! I was so angry! But then he handed me my camera and said, "Can we take some pictures so we can see them when we are old?" How can I refuse a request like that? Of course, I gave in, or else the pictures you see above would not exist. :)

Wonderful Things That I Love

My mom keeps nagging me to post, (Like she's one to talk!) but there is never anything momentous enough to write about. My life is just the same as any other 14 year old girl living in America. Finally I gave up, and decided to just talk about my favorite things, and things that just make my life wonderful!

First of all, there is Music. I would honestly die with out it. I love the way musicians can pick up an ordinary object and bring it to life through music. I have tried this extraordinary feat on several occasions, but sadly, it was not meant to be. My piano lessons were a disaster, and the flute just made me dizzy, and we won't even talk about my choir class! I am going to attempt to make music one last time with my guitar lessons next semester, but I'm afraid I am destined to simply enjoy music, rather than create it.

Secondly, my love of food. I love good food, but I cannot stand the bad stuff. For example, MacDonald's. Gross, Icky, Eww. I mean, they can at least TRY to make it quality food. Wendy's is Fast Food, and its not as awful so its not like Ronald has any excuse other than he is just a lazy cheap skate. If you want real food, I suggest you visit Grandma Gail's house for Sunday dinner. Yummy! But as far as restaurants go, P. F. Chang's is the winner by far. My favorite is their lettuce wraps. MMMMMM!!!!!!

Drama is another thing I could not live without. I am no Actress, I am WAY too shy for that, (Again, I was cursed to observe and not create) but I find other ways to be involved. Right now I am on the crew for our children's Christmas play, "The Toys Take Over Christmas". (It is an awesome play, and if you can, you should come and watch it!) I wish I had been born a true thespian like my Father, Chrislynn, Richie and Grandpa Worthy, but while I am not actually acting in the play, I still get to dress up like an elf and be one of Santa's Helpers! I am so psyched!!!

And finally, the thing that makes my life so wonderful is my Family. I love you all! What more can I say? You rock for just existing. MWWWAH!

I LOVED IT!!!!! YIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

HOLY COW! The movie was amazing! I've seen it twice already, and I'm going again on Friday! I was crazy enough to go to the 3:00 a.m. showing! I was totally expecting it to be a complete disaster, but it wasn't! I think that's the reason I loved it so much, because I am the only one in the entire population of Blanding, no make that San Juan County, who didn't hate it. I still don't like Robert Pattinson, who played Edward, but he wasn't quite as hideous as I first thought. My all time favorite character was definitely Jasper, without a doubt! IIIIIIIII!!!!!! He is so HAWT!
MMMM!!!! He's so yummi! They still messed up the book, but I try not to think about that. . . : )

I Got Tagged. . . Again!

7 things I can do:

1. I can write fairly well, but usually I do it for my own enjoyment. I don't do well when I know someone is going to read my work.
2. Texting. I love texting my buddies, and my phone is constantly in my hand. I almost died when our service got shut down for a few months. It was unbearable, but somehow I survived.
3. I have yet to lose a Guitar Hero match with my dad.
4. I'm pretty good at Vollyball. I play middle blocker, but I like to hit from the outside.
5. I also play Softball. I usually play 3rd base, but occasionally I go in for the 2nd baseman or Shortstop.
6. I can make cookies. Mostly just because I had to teach myself how when my parents refused to whenever I was in the mood.
7. I can drive my van about 20 m/p hour as long as nobody else is within a close proximity to me. Im also very good at pressing the gas pedal when I should hit the brake.

1. Sing
2. Act
3. Math
4. Whistle
5. Stop myself from correcting someone when they say "Libary" instead of "Library".
6. Lie
7. Talk comfortably on the phone.

7 things that attract me to Edward

1. He's on of the main charachter of the best book ever written!
2. He's a Vampire! Who could possibly resist that?!
3. He's a fictional character, so I can imagine however I want. He can change according to my mood, and nobody would ever be the wiser.
4. He's freakin Hawt!!!
5. Whenever I feel upset, I can just pull out Twilight and he brightens up my day.
6. He is so sweet.
7. He's just perfect. There is no other way to decribe him.

4. Heather Meyer; She is a phenominal Vollyball player, and had to sit out this season (her senior year) because of knee surgery, but she never complained and always stuck with the team and tried to help as best she could from the sidelines. The doctors told her she could not play any sport for 6 months, but 3 months later at state she showed them all and played despite them. It was so fun to watch the fear in the other teams eyes when she came in!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is coming, so here is a list of everything I am thankful for. (lol)
First I'm grateful for my family. We had Sunday dinner for the first time in a long time last night, and I didn't realize how much I missed everyone until we got there. Sure, the kids can get a little roudy, but grandmas house just wouldn't be the same without screaming little ones.
Second I'm grateful for my friends. How would I survive High School without you guys? You rock and I love you forever.
Finally I am so deeply, extremely, enormusly and eternaly grateful to Stephanie Meyer, for creating the most beutiful work of art in the history of great books. Twilight has changed me forever, and I will always be in her dept. Lol just joking, but seriously, you should read it. Its a good book. (If your a 14 year old girl, otherwise, its kinda sappy.)
Of course theres way more I'm grateful for, but I gotta get going. Love you all!

50 Facts About Me

1. My favorite food is any kind of potatoe. It doesn't even matter how its prepared, as long as it's a potatoe.
2. My favorite color is a deep purple, like almost maroon.
3. I love frogs!
4. I know this sounds really odd, but I love the dentist. Mostly just because of the happy gas, but even without it its a really soothing place for me.
5. I love golfing with my dad, even though I usually end up driving the cart while my dad golfs.
6. My best friend is Bailey Elizibeth Meyer. Thats her...

7. Wicked has made me realize my love for Broadway Musicals. I havn't seen it, but I really, really want to! My list of shows to see includes Les Mez, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, and much much more!
8. Twilight. Where do I even start? Its AMAZING!!! I've read every book like, a bajillion times! But like I said on my parents blog, I am not very happy about the movie. In fact I am very angry. >:0(
9. I love music, and its hard for me to chose one favorite song, but I think if I had to chose it would be Hot and Cold by Katy Perry.
10. I love to write, but my favorite class is French. Its an amazing language and I hope to be able to speak it somewhat fluently by the time I graduate. (Plus the food is awsome!)
11. When I was a little kid my Dad nicknamed me Moog short for Moogsteroonie, but since then my friends have adapted it to Moogleoogle, Moog Monster, M&M, and many more odd variations of Moog.
12. I love candles! I love to smell them and watch the flame melt the wax, and then when there is enough melted wax, I like to play in it and make molds of my fingers with it.
13. I hate nuts. They are gross and only acceptable when they are in something esle such as cookies or candy bars and the yummy flavors of the goodie hide the repulsiveness of the nuts. Peanut Butter is even worse, and just the smell makes me want to gag.
14. I am the oldest cousin on both sides. Sometimes its really hard, because I feel really distant from the rest of my cousins, but its really fun to watch them play and remember what it was like when I was their age.
15. I love to sing, but only when I know nobody is around to hear me.
16. I have three cats, (Tuxi, Tom, and Fred) and one dog(Bear).
17. I miss Lou. (My Dog who died last year.)
18. The night after Lou died, I looked up and found the brightest star I could and named it after him. I look for it every night, even though I discovered I can only see it in the Winter, and tell him about my life and how much I miss him. When I can't think of anything to say, I just tell him good night and blow him a kiss.
19. Stitches scare me, but I think it would be kinda cool to have some.
20. I love the smell of rain.
21. I love to stand in the rain.
22. I love how the rain feels, especially when its coming down really hard, almost like hail.
23. I love the sound of rain hitting the roof.
24. I love the sound of Thunder. My favorite is when its so loud that you can feel it shake the ground underneath you.
25. I love it when the power goes out and everything is so dark that you can't see, but then lightning strikes and everything is illuminated for a split second.
26. I love makeing "Thunder Tents" for Kate and Worthy to protect them from the thunder.
27. I love oatmeal cookies.
28. I love no bake cookies.

36. When I get married, I want my husband to love me as much as my Dad loves my Mom.
37. I love to read.
38. I love the way some books suck you in and make you feel like its all real and actually happening to you.
39. Sometimes I dream about the books I read.
40. I have three blankets that I cherish. The first one Gamma Gail gave to me for my baptism and told me that it would be my comforter. It really has been a great comfort in my life, and I am really gratefull to gamma for it.
41. The second is one gamma gail gave me for Christmas one year. It was one of those with lots of strings hanging off, like a fringe. Bailey and I would tie the strings together around our necks and make it a cape, and then we would pretend we were vampires from another world who got suck here on earth. lol it was lots of fun!
42. The third blanket is one Worthy gave to me last year at Christmas. He was so excited to give it to me, that he wouldn't let me open anything else until I had opended that one. The look on his face was enough that I wouldn't have cared if he had given me a jar of peanut butter. Now every time I use that blanket I think of how much my little brother loves me.
43. Sometimes I wish my little sister wasn't autistic, so we could be a normal family. But I can't imagine Kate any other way, and I am glad I get to be her older sister.
44. Sometimes I imagine Worthy as a teen, and I can already tell he's gonna be a stud!
45. My favorite sport is Vollyball, but softball is close behind. I love smacking the ball like there is no tommorrow!
